Jasper first picked up a camera to help friends in local bands capture their energy on stage. What started as grassroots music videos quickly evolved into a deeper passion for visual storytelling. Over time, his style grew from music-focused content into more documentary and narrative-driven projects that highlight real people, real moments, and real impact.

With experience on larger sets, bigger crews, and stronger collaborations, he discovered that filmmaking at its best is a team sport—and that teamwork consistently pushes his work to the next level.

After graduating high school, he attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where he specialized in Sound Design and Foley. That background in sound continues to shape his approach, allowing him to craft edits that don’t just look cinematic, but feel immersive and complete.

On paper, he’s a filmmaker and editor with a decade of hands-on experience across music, documentary, and branded storytelling. In person, he’s a collaborator at heart, always striving to bring out the full power of a story through craft, creativity, and connection.

The Process

Pre-Production

We begin with a discovery meeting to understand your story, goals, scope, and budget. Together, we lock in the vision—drilling down into the story, identifying interview subjects, and crafting research questions. From there, I build the creative roadmap: a shot deck, look book, mood board, and gear list. Scheduling, location scouting, and dates are finalized so everything is ready before shoot day.

Production

On set, I arrive prepared with the shot list in hand. This is where the planning pays off—I capture all interviews, B-roll, and details needed to bring your story to life, while staying flexible to catch authentic moments as they happen.

Post-Production

The edit is where everything comes together. I start by culling the footage and sending interviews for transcription to highlight the strongest answers. From there, I assemble the story, refine the pacing, and merge visuals with sound for a cohesive narrative. Finally, I elevate the film with thoughtful sound design, color, and polish—delivering a piece that feels cinematic and complete.

    Editing rates are typically as follows:

    Short form content: (~5min) $20/minute of finished content

    Medium-length content: (10-30min) $10/minute

    Long form content: (45+min) $7/minute of finished content

  • Depending on what you need, full video production can range anywhere between a couple of weeks to a couple months.

  • Not always. Some stories work best with a detailed plan, while others reveal themselves more naturally along the way. Often, we’ll shape the core of the story during pre-production, then refine and discover new layers in the edit. By the end, the final film becomes the truest version of the story you set out to tell.

  • Anywhere you want to connect with your audience—your website, social media, fundraising campaigns, events, and more. I can also create shorter versions for platforms like Instagram and TikTok if needed.

  • I include revision rounds in every project so you’ll have the chance to review, give feedback, and make sure the final cut reflects your vision.

  • Yes—while I’m based in Lancaster Ohio and Billings Montana, I’m available for travel depending on the project.
